After contacting Leslie Charles Interiors, one of our designers will telephone you to discuss your proposed project and which of our design services would best suit your particular project. They will then arrange your initial interior design consultation. This service is free of charge for clients who live within a 20 miles of our Tonbridge showroom. Prior to this meeting we ask clients to gather any images and ideas ready for discussion.

The client brief is the most important stage. At this meeting we like to get to know our clients to understand their lifestyle, their likes and dislikes and the style they wish to achieve. It is also at this first meeting that both parties establish whether the all important personal chemistry is right. This meeting will last approximately 90 minutes. Following the meeting we will send you a proposal for the work involved along with our design fees for your project. Our design fees are dependant on the scope of the project and are advised and agreed upon prior to commencement of the design process.

Stage 1 – Once you have engaged our services, the designer who will be responsible for your project will contact you to arrange a meeting with you at your property to discuss the project in more detail. At this meeting we will carry out a complete site survey, taking accurate measurements and digital photographs of the room/rooms involved in the project. Following this meeting your designer will start work on your project creating design boards for each room showing suggested window treatments, fabrics and wallpapers, paint colours, furniture, lighting and flooring where applicable.

Stage 2 – This meeting will take place in our showroom where we will present the design boards and discuss ideas in more detail and make any relevant changes.

Stage 3 – At this meeting we will present you with completed story boards along with a list of suggested products and estimates for the work involved.
